3rd SHARE Credit Transfer System Capacity-Building Workshop
SHARE would like to thank everyone who contributed to the highly successful third SHARE Credit Transfer System capacity-building workshop that was conducted on 13-14 March 2017.
The workshop was organised on behalf of ASEAN by SHARE and was hosted by the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. It was attended by the 4 Indonesian universities participating in SHARE (Universitas Indonesia, Institut Pertanian Bogor, Universitas Diponegoro, BINUS), and two of the SHARE partner universities in Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Malaysia Sabah) as well as representatives from AUN-ACTS and SEAMEO-RIHED.
The workshop aimed to strengthen and develop further the partner universities’ ability to design programmes and courses that are based upon learning outcomes, in order to facilitate credit transfers. Active participation from the audience also enabled our team to acquire a better understanding of the constraints and hurdles to student mobility and credit recognition in Indonesia and Malaysia, whilst discussing possible strategies to overcome such challenges.
