SHARE QA team joined workshops hosted by the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) on behalf of AQAN
KUALA LUMPUR, 17-20 February 2020 - Recently, the SHARE QA team and two of their senior experts joined two workshops hosted by the Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA) on behalf of AQAN in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. These workshops had the objectives to develop a new Strategic Plan for the period 2020-2025 for AQAN as well as reviewing the current AQAN constitution and include improvements to strengthen the network and its secretariat. Also, this was the 1st physical meeting of the task force charged with updating the AQAF guidelines for the review of accrediting agencies in ASEAN under AQAN.
Apart from the above-mentioned, these workshops were meant to support AQAN in reviewing the strategic plan, streamline it and ensure its alignment with ASEAN priorities. The AQAN Constitution & By-Laws was made fit for purpose to implement the new Strategic Plan and answer to changed demands since the foundation of the network in 2008. Meanwhile, the 1st AQAF meeting was specially designed to review the AQAF guidelines, consolidate the findings, analyse and draw strategy for future implementation of the AQAN agency review scheme post 2020.
